Was Friday night a case for alternate strips?

We,ve changed where we play, when we play, teams we play against, coaches, players, presidents and boot studders. Half sash, whole sash, even yellow shorts, we are still the Richmond Football Club and as long as we retain our basic yellow and black who gives a.
 
NO!!!
We  have the sash front and back there was no need for an alternate strip that night. If anything Carlscum should have changed their strip because it was our home game.
 
So the jumpers are to blame for poor skill level now, rather than fatigue or over-enthusiasm or the fact that some of our players never had great foot skills to begin with?

IMO, for what its worth, all this banter about alternate strips is another media beat up.  Of the old die hards here who of you had difficulty in distinguishing Rober MGhie from Alan Noonan duringt he 70's?  WHo had troublke working out who took the mark in the drawn grand final between north and collingwood?  Its never seen to be an issue int he past so how come its one now.  I have never had a problem seeing the players from eitehr end of the ground and from the nose bleed section or at ground level.

I hope the board says up yours to the star chamber and retains OUR JUMPER.
