Hi All,

I am heading down to Tassie for the weekend and was wondering if any of the knowledgeable PREnders know of a good venue to watch the footy on a Saturday evening in Hobart.

It doesn't have to be, but a family-friendly venue would be good.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Love Hobart.

A lovely stroll around the Cove to Salamanca Place.

Magnificent seafood & lovely Tasmanian wines.

Leysy's down in Hobart by chance this weekend too Panthera so am also in the market for a decent pub that will do decent grub & have the footy.

One piece of advice whilst in the apple isle, stick to the mothers milk Boags & steer clear of that local Southern Cascade stuff. You'll have holes burnt through your tongue by midnight saturday.

Many people are throwing away there crystal radios for the talking picture box. ;)

Yep, got some good newer models down here now. Usually 60 minutes on the bike can generate enough power to watch a quarter of footy before the charge runs out.....

Agree on the Boags too - go the Premium Lager and you wont be disappointed!

Cheers for the suggestions everyone. I'll take the beer advice as well.

If we happen to end up at the same pub Leysy I will just look for the fella speaking about themselves in the third person and cheering loudly for the Tiges. "Leysy is lovin' that goal Deledio!".

Its hereditory PT, can't be cured. & Leysy'll be there with a couple of family members too.

PM us if ya figure out ya plans & r keen 4 a beer!
