Our midfield was progressing well towards the end of 2008...so what happens...the biggest "receiver" of all time in Campbell comes back to the Club in 2009 and immediately our midfield of Foley, Cotchin, Tambling, Tuck, Deledio and to a lesser extent Edwards and White have all had below average seasons.
He couldn't get the hard ball when he was playing...and now our midfield are playing like he played...with the exception of Jackson, Foley and Cousins who don't shirk a contest.
So disappointing...I recall writing a thread about this pre season fearing his return to the Club...I just scoff at supporters wanting Campbell as our senior coach...what a joke :
