cant believe some of the commentator remarks after todays game comparing WCE to the Brisbane Lions. To me theres no comparison.

Brisbane were that dominant, that classy, that tough, no other team in the comp could compete.

I used to sit back in sheer amazement while watching that Lions team dissect others. It was like watching the ultimate football team.

I respect WCE for being a good side but no way are they in that league (yet???).
 
Well, if WC can hold themselves together over the next couple of years ......

You never know until it happens.
 
Brisbane were just an awesome side, West Coast were the only team to take it up to Brisbane in their prime consistently. Brisbane haven't beaten West Coast since 2002 and in the game they were beaten, they still took it up to Brisbane physically and on the scoreboard!
