We can still make the finals

We should have been playing finals this year.
Dont know if this has been done, but having suffered 3 x 100 point thrashings and make the finals.
Has any team done this?
Two games we lost when one we were in front by 3 goals then we started to count down the clock- Freo
And the game we were tipped to win but played a stinker- Hawks
But look on the flip side we won games we were given no chance at all.
Ninth again--------------hurts like hell

We've finished ninth a few times in recent years (and I hate it), but better to be ninth on the way up instead of finishing out of the eight in the last round because of percentage or a game.
Finals would of been fantastic, but in saying that we have only won 2 of 11 games against teams in the 8. Do we deserve it?

But seriously, we should get good odds to beat WC.
It happens in the last round every year, when the teams who won't make the finals play above themselves and beat the finals teams.
I think we are a good chance to beat W.C.
To the brightsiders, I look forward to Deledio playing on Judd.
And to the darksiders, who will play on Richo?

Yes you can talk about "ninth with a bullet" all you like, but the reality is we've finished out of the finals again to make it 2 times in 24 years.
Who really knows if we'll improve next year? On the face of it we might but the only certainty at this stage is that we won't see September action again this year.
Let it not be forgotten that the massive failure in the Hawks game *smile*ed our season well and truly.
I honestly believe we should have played finals this year but when the chips were down the usual suspects again went missing. So we get a couple of token wins at the end of the year. Big deal!
It was the three weeks prior to that where again we couldn't rise to the challenge.
I hate missing the finals again, hate it!!!!
