I am not joking. We can still make the finals this year. It is a definite mathematical possibility, albeit a bit unlikely.
All we require is for the Bulldogs to lose by 116 points or more. They play the Bombers on Friday night, and the way they stayed with us on Saturday night just gone means anything could happen.
And the other requirement for us to make the 8 is for us to beat the Eagles by a slightly more difficult 224 points. Now I know this initially sounds fairly unlikely, but, the Eagles have a day less break than us, they had a hard game against Freo, and have to fly over here. And given they are guaranteed to make top 2, they will take this game pretty easily I would've thought. And the way Richo is going the last few games, if he kicks a lazy 20 goals, anything is possible. :clap
