i vividly remember going to the first gameof the year when judd was debuting for carlton, and it was there saviour and i couldnt stand their ridiculous talk! and we did the same thing with cousins, not as bad as carlton but good god it was bad enough!!!!!! and it was the same result we lost and went home with our tail between our legs!

and it feels great to think we are on the rise and watch a game like that then realise we are playing geelong next week!!! thanks richmond!!!!
 
I think we've put Cousins on far too high a pedestal.  We've centred our focus around him.  We've singled him out from the pack.  Ben has been doing  a doco on himself.  He's written articles on himself.

This is the Richmond Football Club.  The players are all part of a team.  I don't like credit, hype or expectation based around one individual. We certainly didn't look like a united team last night.

I was really diappointed when the giant messages showed on the big screen inviting people to go to gate such and such to purchase player badges and #32 Ben Cousins jumpers.  I would have much preferred we treated Ben like everyone else on the list.

Last night was pumped up to be bigger than Ben Cousins Hur but, and it's not his fault, we wilted under the spotlight.
 
your tottally right rosy that was the point of my post that we cant put such a high price on one player!

The biggest illness this club has had since the mid-80's was HYPE and they still can't get rid of it.
 
the club is not helping as they have said that they are only doing no.32 jumpers this year

what a joke
