For all the talk of Richmond's lack of quality talls, especially in defense, last Sunday's game highlighted once more Richmond's biggest problem is a lack of decent short defenders.
When was the last time a tall kicked 7 against Richmond?
I can't remember the last time a tall had any significant impact, but I do remember time and time again the little guys hurting us.
When you consider how often the ball gets kicked to the big blokes, people like Thursfield, Bowden and McGuane have done tremendous jobs stopping them.
People like Newman, King and Raines, however, have been consistently bleeding goals.
