PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

What is it with Richmond? A team that finishes 9th, goes into the season, 2nd last favourites for the premiership, goes into a game clear under dogs against Carlton who finished last, and is highly over-rated by their big headed supporters.

Is anyone else worried about Sunday's game?

If we win, everyone will say, "yeah, you beat Carlton".
If we lose, it will be the, Carlton for premiers outcries.

We dont get our fair share of the cake unfortunately. Is this a good thing? I havnt lived long enough to know. But it sure is annoying.

Why is our list conisdered poor? Why are Hawthorns, Essendon, and Carlton getting credit for their drafting. Is it just me getting worried about what other people say? Or are you getting frustrated too?

The only response, is to go out on Sunday, bang the Carlscums heads into the turf, with fierce tackling, venom, and desire to win. We gotta show everyone that we aint no pushovers. I so wish i had the power to address this to the club myself, but for some reason, I dont think that same psycology is in the players minds. Surely the RFC would like some respectibility from the rest of the football world. And the most obvious ploy of gaining some, obvisously didnt work last year, and that was winning with a bloody young side.

Whats plan B? I think we should actually make a fierce presence on the footy field, and make every player think twice about recieving the ball.

But gee, whos to say that will work as well? I guess we'll just have to live with it. :-\
