Reported in todays Age that wallace says we are a key defender short and we will trade for one at years end. Well let me ask why was *smile* told not required ( I was not a *smile* fan myself) as we had players who could cover his position. Why did we recruit Polak if he isnt going to play on the taller oposition forwards etc. I can think of half a dozen games this year we have got the match ups wrong with our key defenders that have cost us games. Raines on Reiwoldt last week was stupid when we had Polak there or Thursfield. Once again I think generally we are improving and Wallace has done some good things but some of the bullsh?t coming out has me thinking they are sometimes making it up as they go along. At the end of the year will we hear we are 16th with a bullet because if we do I think some supporters such as me will just about give up on the Wallace spin and the knives will be out. Also hope we have a new captain otherwise could also cost us a swag of members. Just my thougts. Getting so frustrated with this year.
