We need a player like Leo Barry

Leo Barry was a very good contributor for the Swans on Saturday. No doubt. He wasn't an early draft choice and it took him 4 years to establish himself in AFL footy. And has played 11 seasons of AFL footy to achieve his current status.

The point that I wish to make is that there is nothing magical about Leo Barry that can't be replicated by any one of our current juniors who is prepared to put in the work for as long a time as he has.

We don't need a Leo Barry, we probably already have one amongst our juniors.

I hope you're right about that Phantom. I don't think Leo is exceptional either but I do think he's a good player(I guess that's where we started).
I have my doubts about Jackson because I don't think he has Barry's footy smarts. I hope he proves me wrong.

I really do hope you're right too TF. There's alot to like about Jacko. Just seemed to stall this year. Then agin he's still learning.
Hard to believe Barry is only 184cm. He sure plays taller than that...

With his big body and good pace, we can't let him go. It'll probably take time until everything clicks for him to be a regular.
