Just really getting jacked off with the umpiring, we've got 3 out there yet they continually make mistakes buy paying free kicks when they are just not there to be paid. I hear AD wants 4 umps, what a farce that would be, instead of paying the 40 or so frees a game, it will go up to 50-60. They just stand there, trying to see anything that's illegal, even the slightest push or the slightest chop of the arms and a free kick is paid. I reckon they are trying too hard, and now you get the situation such as today's worst decision in the history of the game where Motlop has given away a free kick for taking a great grab. His hands were near his opponent's back but never touched him and bang free kick. It's getting out of hand and will ruin the game if this rule is not disbanded at the end of the year.

When the league had 2 umpires the game flowed beautifley, there was rarely reversal of free kicks and there was never down the ground free kick crap the happens today. These umpires get paid handsomely, and they don't run that hard these days IMO. The game is becoming a joke, and it won't be long before a grand final is decided by a dodgy, soft, wasn't there free. If Motlop marks that ball in the dying seconds of a granny and gets the ball taken from him, what a disgrace that would be.

And finally, I thought when a player dives on the ball and takes possession and then two or three players from the opposition dive on his back and neck and wherever else this is an automatic free kick to the player with the ball. Now, it's either a ball up play on or, low and behold, holding the ball.

Sorry, but just had to have my spray on the game.
