We will definitely play finals in 2008!

The minute Richmond can't make the finals next year we should start planning the appointment of his successor.

The bloke who appointed him goes first.

Spot on Jack.

We should expect finals next season. Stuff the BS excuses.

If Richmond finish bottom two next season both Miller & Wallace are unlikely to be there in '09.

Whats the odds for us to make the finals?

We are not definitely making the finals. We have a chance, but they are slim.

Get off the fence, either we will or we won't. ;D

My Forecast: Bottom 4 finish in my books, massive internal rumblings, a splinter group will emerge to out Wallet, John Ilhan to payout his 5th year and once again express his interest to join the board, Greg will be under pressure, and Caroline Wilson will be pumping out the articles supporting the splinter group.

Throw your crystal ball away GPB...... it's a dud :(

We are a bottom four side where right now, today, its hard to justify which team(s) we are going to finish in front of.

Teams we could potentially finish in front of:

Essendon, Lions (if Brown goes down), Doggies (if West/Johnston finally stop defying father time), North, Geelong (would be very Cat like to have a hangover from hell), Carlton (Judd won’t be fully fit early and the rest of their team is still balls), Pies (we beat them in round 19 and I just don’t like them), STK (would have beat them in 22 if we wanted, G-train is gone) Crows (hit the age wall), WCE (ok that’s really pushing it but if you believe in karma..) .

Hey we can make the 8! :hihi

??

You have to be joking; How could you possibly justify that kind of reasoning? What part of w-o-o-d-e-n-s-p-o-o-n do you not understand?; More like:
Essendon - Maybe, Lions - Unlikely, Doggies- Unlikely North - NO, Geelong -NO, Carlton-Maybe Pies-NO, STk- NO Crows - NO WCE -NO.

Geelong - yes
Sandringham - Yes
Willi - Yes
Werribee - yes
Nth Ballarat - yes
Bendigo - yes

Hey I think we can win the flag - This is the Coburg thread isnt it???

you're right, we were joking, but it's nice to dream.

Here is a story for you. I support a team called the St Louis Rams in the NFL. They were the worst team in the NFL in the 1990's and by 2001 they had had around after 15 years of Richmond like ineptitude. No one gave them a chance to be good in 2001, even their own fans, but suddenly they went nuts, broke almost every scoring records with an attack that became nicknamed 'the greatest show on turf' and won the grand final in a game decided in the last second.

There is always hope!
