We will win this week

With all due respects Livers, I'm thinking it isn't the picks we're taking (mostly) but what we're doing with them after they get here.
They seem to go through the patented (tm) Richmondisation process, which can turn gold into asbestos.

:hihi ....yeah, you make a good point.
Look at Lids at the moment.....and so far, maybe Cotchin NOT playing is a blessing in disguise as he may escape the parasitic disease from attaching to him as well, at least until we get a new coach and gameplan anyway.

the tanks are ready to roll you reckon...

I TANK I CAN I TANK I CAN I TANK I CAN....COME ON THOMAS! GET THAT ENGINE ROARIN'!!! (Terry has put us in this position; i hate tanking but he's ruined our list that much that it's our only hope of ever starting to rebuild a remotely good list). Damn you Wallace. Maybe for once in our lives we will treat the NATIONAL DRAFT with the respect it deserves.

GO TIGES!!!

I think we'll be in it for a long way. North haven't exactly been lighting up the scoreboard either this season (101, 65, 69, 69).

However, we are more than capable of playing them back into form.

Play the kids and lets see what happens. Everyone over 30 will need to find out who Coburg are playing this week (exc Richo).

Get games into these kids but also find out who is capable of taking this club into the future.

LOL at tanking. Personally I don't think we're good enough to tank. Tanking implies that you could win to start with.

In fact, I'd go so far as to suggest that if we tried to tank, we'd more than likely suck at it and start winning matches :P

Liverpool! (and Broadsword)

You are very wise men :clap

Tanking - FFS! >:(

A win next week - and we are back in the hunt

Draft picks :blah

Yeh I had a strong feeling that we would win this week too.

Chris Newman was interviewd after last weeks loss to melb and what he said stuck with me all week. You could hear the massive hurt in his voice and he promised tiger supporters that were listening that they would beat the kangaroos the next week.

Thanks for keeping your work Newy, your team mates backed you up and it was a good tough contested effort.

Best tackling pressure I have seen in years. :clap

Yeah, we were on the same page Extra One. Was saying all week we were due against the Roos. That and how the players would have felt was a compelling combination. We got a handy present in Harvey going off, but I still think we would have won, it just would have been much closer.

Good onya TT. How do you reckon well go next week against the swans?

Hey Tigergollywog. I have no doubt we have a better side than the Swans.

Can than turn up and play again like last night. They should be able to. Prove to the world that last week was not a one week effort.

when was the last time we actually beat north melbourne?

I think it was 2006, Coggs played, it was a very cold MCG. The next week we played the Hawks in Tassie and that was Coggs' last game until last night.

I think.

Correct about the 2006 win. We have played the Roos only once each year since 2004. They'd won 4, we'd won one (2006). I think this helped too, they simply have not seen that much of us on the field in recent years (so they couldn't remember how really bad we were :hihi )

We need to tank and tank hard. Wallace should get a tap on the shoulder and the caretaker should be told to tank as much as he can.

Tanks for coming.
We don't want to tank, we need to come 10th, just have a look at Pick 7 over the last few drafts

2008 - Daniel Rich
2007 - Rhys Palmer
2006 - Joel Selwood
2005 - Patrick Ryder
2004 - Jordan Lewis

Pretty decent bunch there

The best part was midway through the last quarter, players were going in hard even though the game was already won.
