PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

I was going to post this on Wozzas thread about pre-game drinks seeing it's a related topic about meeting up with footy "friends" but didn't want to hijack it.

Poeple often mention they've seen someone wearing PRE gear and post on here asking who it was.  They didn't like to go up and introduce themselves in case it was intruding.

It would be good to know how others feel about it.  I'd assume if people wore their PRE tops in public they'd be happy to meet other PREnders.

I saw someone around the traps in PRE stuff a few times and asked who it was on here. Each time Hartbalme replied that it was he, even though I didn't realise it was the same person I was seeing each time.

I was too shy to just go up and say gidday anyway but last year at the Brisse game I just happened to have a reserved seat right next to someone in a PRE top.  I admit I was very close to not introducing myself but decided that was pathetic.

It was Hartbalme and I'm really glad I met him.  It wasn't as painful as I imagined.   ;D

If it wasn't for the top hb and his partner are friends I would probably never have met.

How do others who wear the PRE stuff feel?  Are you happy for people to come up and say gidday or do you prefer to be left alone?

Has anyone else had chance meetings with anyone due to them wearing our gear?
