Bulldogs 54 since their last premiership
Aints 42 years since their last.

Sure the Cats & Hawks have been the years best teams but I know who I'll be barracking for this weekend.
Be great to see these underdogs get up.

Geelong will thump Doggies & Hawks will thump Saints.Simple as that.
Agree with Geelong, but Hawks Vs Saints will not be a walk in the park seeing as the Saints beat them only 6-7 weeks ago.
Saints a very good chance and I'll be tipping them

The Odds, (off the top of my head)

This weeks games:

Cats - $1.13
Dogs - $5

Hawks - $1.25
Saints - $2.55

Premiership

Cats - $1.35
Hawks - $3.50
Saints - $15
Dogs - $17

Good price on the Saints. I'll take some of that tannerz.

Poor price actually scotty. Actually a terribly framed market.

You'll get close to, if not more than $4 on the saints h2h.

Is that because the Saints beat them last time?

You are right Brian. I am shocked. I'd rather have twice as much on the Cats at 1.13 than take the 1.25 that is being offered on the Hawks.

I'm taking the Saints. Might even take the Saints-Dogs double just for a laugh.

this has been the most boring finals series in years, if not ever. all games have been decided by 3/4 time so far (if not earlier) and it's not gonna get any better. cats by 10 goals this week, the hawks by 5 goals. cats to win the granny by a minimum of 5 goals.

I think the Saints match up on the Hawks pretty well and have the forwards to stretch their defence.
Lyon appears to be a pretty good strategic coach and has drilled his players well in one-on-one football which wins finals
Teams have shown that they can beat Clarksons cluster recently, so I think they're a very good chance to win

Anyone see a slight anomaly in the current finals system?

Saints finished fourth and got to play Geelong in a game they didn't have to win. Come back two weeks later and now they get to play Hawthorn in a game they do need to win. For the Dogs it's the other way around. Better to finish fourth than third when first are so much better than the rest?

Suppose they'll have to beat them at some stage anyway ...............

Don't rate the hawks backline if Kozy and Riewoldt fire it could be on.

You've been taking too much acid again, Jon Brown was average this year, was hardly ever fit which seems to be half the season every year. Riewoldt was the reason the Saints rallied and finished 4th this year.
