Murray Weideman is disappointed about not being selected into Hall of Fame, cant really comment on whether he deserves it as never saw him play but this year's inductees were pretty good apart from Harry Beitzel off field activities.
Weideman was quoted as saying he could beat some of the players in the hall of fame with one hand tied behind his back. On SEN the other day Tim Watson asked him which players he asked he could beat behind his back, after much prompting he said the little guy Weight, meaning the Flea.
Hopefully he meant he could beat him because he was smaller (though Flea would still hit him pretty hard). In "Pulse" section in todays paper they have taken it that Weidemann thought Flea did not desrve to be in the Hall of Fame and contacted Flea to see if he had any issue with Weidemann which he said he never met him. Hopefully the pulse have taken it out of context as Flea is a very desrving member of the Hall of Fame.
