Read his sister's bio. Assuming they have the same Dad, their father started and led the South Sudan Liberation Army. The bloodlines would suggest some pretty determined mindset and focus.
Yep.

The first African superstar won't be a hyped early draft pick. He will be a bolt from the blue. This kid is a gangling colt at the moment. I'm not saying he'll become Phar Lap but he does have a hint of Carbine on both sides. Get him in the sandhills and let Dimma Woodcock do the rest.

I wonder if Chol will have a mentoring role with this lad. Could be great for both of them.

Biggy needs to improve his endurance so I hope they pick a mentor that will challenge him in this space. Cholly has been poor in this area whether through genes or lack of worktate, (I am leaning towards the latter).
Friendship wise they will be great for each other.

All drafted players need to improve their endurance, but Matt Clarke did say that Biggie has "good endurance". I think he will push Chol, great for both of them.

Noticed in his highlights that he slotted a goal on the run from just outside 50. You look at his action and he looks like he's just chipping it 20m.

Seems this is the guy who will be our next cult figure. Already more posts on his thread than Dow and he's had one less day of post accumulation.

Edit: Looks like it's not the same Dad seeing he died in 1996 and Biggus was born in 2001

I like the fact that his sister is a high achiever, she will be on his back big time to make sure he makes the most of this opportunity, both for himself but also to pay back his mother who managed to get her eight children safely to Australia. Chances are the way they see it, he'll be playing for the whole family and they won't let him forget it.

Just listened to Matt Clarke, good to hear him say Biggie's endurance is ok, (pleasantly, that differed from one of the BIO's i read that said it was a weakness),

I was hoping that we would put a bid in on Bigoa I am not interested in the fact that his sister is a socialist.

She's a high achiever who does great work in the community. More importantly for us, she's also a huge Tigers fan.

Yes and also he has hopefully learnt from his brother, Gach Nyuon, that your AFL career can go down the toilet if you stray down the wrong path having been delisted by Essendon.

Also a great result for the elite sports program at his school Rowville Secondary College.
Read an article on the school website congratulating him on his achievement - https://www.rowvillesc.vic.edu.au/
“A great result for the school! It really shows our program can help our student athletes achieve their goals. Biggie took a little bit of work but the reward is now there for him. A terrific young fella with a bright future and it’s up to him to take this wherever he wants it to go.” – Mr. Darren Bewick, Head AFL Coach, Rowville Sports Academy (RSA).

Note: Tom North (Fremantle) and Jack Maibaum (Sydney) both former RSA students were also rookie drafted on Friday 29 November, 2019. Biggie, Tom and Jack will join other Rowville students Jonathan Patton (Hawthorn), Hayden Crozier (Western Bulldogs),Taylor Garner (North Melbourne), Taylin Duman (Fremantle) and Sam Hayes (Port Adelaide) on AFL lists for 2020.

Why do only the elite schools in the APS competition get mentioned with draft picks (eg. Carey) when there are many excellent players getting picked from ALL schools, metropolitan and country?

That's quite amazing for what I assume is essentially a public high school.

Or it indicates some pretty determined sperm.
