Welcome Liam Baker

Love the way Bakes plays footy, but there's rarely ever a player who's considered an untouchable. Wouldn't surprise at all if there's a couple of clubs willing to make some very good offers for Bakes, especially if there's the go home factor involved.
Obviously don't give him away free to a good home, but never say never if there's a fair to good offer available.

He's played everywhere else, to an elite level. He has about as many limitations as Dusty does.
Fast, strong, tough, skilful, hard running, contest winning, target hitting, feet keeping, clean handling, space making one-touch player and leader.

*smile* he can’t play ruck. He’d be the best little ruckman in the whole comp

Interesting question - I reckon Freo cause they have been around longer and live in a footy mad state and not competing with league.

Perth should be able to have 2 successful clubs (like adelaide) but yet to be convinced that Brissie can.

Can't see him playing for any team other than Richmond or the 2 WA teams. He'll only go to a WA team if he wants to be closer to his family.

Tend to agree.Freo(Granted they made a Gf & finals) but overall being from a football state you'd think they'd win one by now

As David King says, there are 5 reasons a player changes clubs, and cash is a part of every one.
If Freo come knocking with a life changing offer that we can’t possibly match then Liam would have to seriously look at it.

You forget, this is Richmond. The afl will say that according to their formula with all their secret herbs and spices, we get a pick at the end of round 3 in the draft. Or if I’m being completely cynical, we also have to give freo and west coast a draft pick
