Any idea about his draft camp results.

Here is the write up from Shifter which includes some of his combine results:

THOMSON DOW
Bendigo Pioneers/Swan Hill/Geelong Grammar
184cm 76kg 16/10/2001

Medium midfielder who is explosive and reads the game exceptionally well. He makes good decisions particularly with his creative hands and is composed with the ball. Missed a lot of football in 2018 due to injury but has plenty of upside with his game and physical development. He played all four games for Vic Country and his 18 disposals against Vic Metro at the MCG were encouraging. He averaged 19 disposals and 3.8 marks in five NAB League matches, mixing his football between the Bendigo Pioneers and Geelong Grammar. He is the brother of Carlton’s Rising Star, Paddy Dow.

Competitive Advantage: Vision and power.
Combine Results: Speed - 3.06sec 20m sprint, Agility - 8.06sec, Endurance - 6min 37sec 2km.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And From Draft Central Power Rankings:

#30 Thomson Dow
Bendigo Pioneers/Vic Country | Midfielder/Forward
16/10/2001 | 184cm | 76kg

Another brother of a Carlton-listed player, Thomson Dow has a few unique traits that help him stand out from other midfielder/forwards in this draft crop. While he might only be the 184cm and 76kg, Dow is strong above his head, averaging more than a contested mark per game while drifting forward. His competitive nature to win the contested ball is a feature of his game, with Dow winning more than 51 per cent of his possessions at the coal face, while averaging the three clearances and 2.6 inside 50s per game. He is primarily a handball specialist out of congestion, and while he can hit the scoreboard – his one goal a game average speaks to this – he is at home in the middle of a stoppage. He finds a way to get out of trouble and bares similar traits to his brother Paddy in his movement and touch of class. Dow still has to improve his consistency, but he is a value pick in the second round

Thanks Caesar, I looked at the AFL website and found next to nothing.

I'm guessing Roberton was as bit about disposal and potential go home factor. Surprised we didn't take him, but maybe he's too much like Ross and RCD.

He sounds a little bit george-like, the explosive part at least, I'm on board!

What happened to the years, where everyone else on this planet knowing who were chasing?
None of the "so called" experts had him in their own top 20.
Shifter Sheehan couldn't pick his nose let alone pick talented kids.
Old Geelong knob.

I like the initial look of him. Looks urgent and has fast twitch movements.

Hmm, interesting pick.

I like that he seems to have footy smarts, that is something to look for as hard to teach.

Interesting the comment about a value second round pick - with all the shenanigans going on our first round was 22 in an 18 team competition so looks to be in the right spot.

Definitely looks underdone but of all the teams we have the time to build him up in the VFL and we don't need to put him in the seniors until 2022 really.

Might be a bit of a punt but there's potential there and looks to suit our preferences and to potentially fit our culture.

The NAB League app has all footage from games, not just highlights. He missed rounds 4-16. Plenty of touches when he returned for the last two matches and barely a mistake. All in tight. Fast hands. Great vision and some neat kicks. Burst of acceleration too.

Plenty to work with and he has time. Will be interesting to watch develop over the next 2 years.

I can understand the Giants taking Green, but gee, if we are in the market for a quality mid next year I'd be looking to shake one from that tree. A long queue to get a game there next season.

Looks to have a few strings to his bow which will help him find his best position.
