I like it Hirsute you wooly beast, you.

And I also like D. Rioli's season too. Bombarding the AA selectors with messages about his selection.

Could you imagine if Willie, Taranto and Hopper make their way to punt road in the off-season.

I stopped caring about AA when Dusty missed out a couple of years ago.

It's really a nothing award that people should stop caring about

The Tackle: Mark Robinson’s likes and dislikes from round 21 of the 2022 AFL season

More Riolis at Richmond?

Maurice is becoming the spark specialist and the energy he brings is hard to ignore, while Dan Rioli continues to make claims for a position in the All Australian team. The back six in the AA team can’t take all attacking and creative defenders because every team needs its lockdown defenders, but Rioli is well in the mix after yet another commanding display. He had 25 and kicked two goals. Another Rioli joining Maurice and Dan is not out of the question. West Coast’s Willie Rioli is reportedly weighing up a decision to leave the Eagles and you’d think Maurice and Dan would be in his ear to join the Tigers. With Kane Lambert retired and probably the wonderful Shane Edwards to follow, the Tigers could use a small, skilful forward.
I really like Willie Rioli as a player. Sniffs a goal

The question is whether we can have 2 key forwards, Cumberland, Maurice and Willie in the team with Bolton and Dusty also spending a lot of time forward. We also have Stack (who should be at half back imo) and a developing Judson Clarke.

The other issue is that I imagine most of us on here basically only watch Richmond games. We have very little basis for comparison. Mainly when we play the opposition team that has an AA candidate in the same position. 18 teams and 22 spots. Should only be expecting 1 or 2.

Some similarities between Dan and Peter Matera, both great runners and good kicks. Matera moved to the back flank for the 2'nd half of his career.
Dan is giving us great dash off the back flank, like Matera did for the Eagles, having said that, I didn't like the sook.

Adam Saad is a lock according to Blobbos tackle a couple of weeks ago.
Saad is in the mould of Darcy BJ and Caleb Daniel. Totally overrated and ineffective so he’s probably a lock.
