Went last night with a swannies mate who lost his dad 3 weeks ago [62 years young and never seen a flag, and we rekon it seems like a long time]...anyway,tight tussle for 3 qtrs then bang, thats all she wrote...
Surrounded by VERY loud group of young female aints supporters.............[not so loud in the last though]
Was a good night except i was supprised by how many saints supporters walking out of the ground were saying thats it, we have had our chance and blew it with likely retirements of harvy and p train they dont rate themselves for next year :o

Also to the absolute HEROS who were punching the crap out of the swans supporter in front of his wife and 2 young kids on platform 5 at richmond ts i hope you get whats coming to you real soon....#$%&heads..
did you help them out?
Was trying to break it up when about 10 coppers swarmed all over these guys...tried calming the boys down till our train got there...Cops getting statements of alot of people...hope they go for assault..guy was a mess.
Went down the London Tavern to watch the game, a lot of Saints and Swans without tickets were in there too. Although the telecast was on delay, when Sydney made their burst there was a fair bit of glass broken and morons wanting to square up to each other. We then got locked in so the crowd from the 'G couldn't get in the pub. Saints supporters must have gotten pretty feral. Contrast to the same venue at last year's prelim when Geelong and Brisbane supporters were having an amicable drink and a chat.

I hope the Swannies win.

Maybe Demetriou might like to reconsider his comments about their style of play being counter productive in promoting AFL in NSW. IMHO I would have thought a GF berth and maybe a Flag would be a fairly handy way of promoting AFL in NSW but I guess Andy knows best.

IMO it's not for the AFL President to be giving advice to coaches. He looks pretty silly now.

Just saw the Geelong v Swans game - terrible spectacle, whose only real highlights were Nick Davis, and Cameron Mooney busting his gut. It's fair enough that the Swans win games with that style, but will the Sydney fans turn up if they don't have the cattle?

I hope that (finally!!!!) the AFL get some return on their investment.....

West Coast PLEASE PLEASE win the flag.

We don't want a rugby state that STILL doesn't majorly accept Aussie Rules football to boast throughout another 12 months.

How would young Tezza be feeling, seeing the Swanies make the granny,do you think he feels  that could be me,considering it was romured he had the Swannie gig when he left the kennel.
Well I hope not, winning a premership would be a bigger buzz with the Tigs
Please make it happen Mr Wallace.

You obviously don't leave in WA mate. I would be happy for the ACT to win it rather than the Eagles.

That's true Bill, but at least your state can play Aussie rules and is recognised of great players.

Good luck until Round 1 next year. ;D

Stuff him, he has to pay for barracking for them scummers - my condolences to you though being a tiger supporter over there BJ.

Ouch!

"Sydney Swans doctor Nathan Gibbs said yesterday the laceration to the top of Kirk's head was the largest he had seen in years. "It was like he'd been scalped," Gibbs said.

A curved wound around 15 centimetres long, the cut required 14 stitches. "
