Welsh for Tivendale

I'm amazed any club would consider Tivendale. Even if Welsh is injured we'd do better out of the deal, he wouldn't be giving away goals to the opposition.

Never heard the saying "one man's trash is another's treasure!" then. Would you reckon Pike was going to get another club after Melbourne - yet a couple of premierships later.................... ;)

Had Pike been in the system for 7 - 8 years with only 2 acceptable seasons under his belt when he moved from Melbourne? Tivendale regularly turned the ball over this season and it wasn't like he hadn't spent most of 2004 doing exactly the same thing. Tivendale is going nowhere at Richmond and he's one of the type of players we have to remove to go forward. If he goes elsewhere and does well good luck to him, but he won't do it at Richmond.

Welsh has been earmarked by the Bomber faithful as an up and commer hasn't he? I doubt he'll be going anywhere. He's sure welcome at Tigerland. I like how he plays.
Sheeds likes Tiv, he will get there for sure. The club has to off load him just to keep the knockers in here on side. ;)

They're looking for another runner. I was thinking they might make a move on Camporeale. Tivendale? Makes sense. ;D Who are we getting, Skills?

And if it's Saddington - dont tell us!

Joshua Willoughby

Stuart Maxfield  :hihi (just read now on THE AGE update that he's retired and thanked the Tigers for starting his career)

Excellent scoop. Does he want to be nearer SA?

I've always said that Tivendale would be better suited at Sydney. I'd take a direct swap for Saddington.

Don't think Saddington's body is up to it anymore. Could be costly

yeah true, but either way we're not going to get much for Tivendale so if I had to choose between Saddington or Tivs i'd choose Saddington.

hypothetically if saddington were to be in the top 18, where would he play? chf? chb? hf? hb?

Gad. If we choose Saddington over a draft choice and put the guy in the side then the only thing we would be proving to all is what a magnificent 22 we can put on the park. I mean what would be the point of having the guy come here - shore up the Coburg side - why get rid of Morrison if that is the case.
