I hope that people do not take this post the wrong way but for the long term of the RFC do we want to have a tilt at finals or do we want to pick up some real guns in next years Super Draft.
I as much as anyone love seeing the Tiges flying but for the long term future of the club i think finishing in the bottom four if not last would be the best thing for our future.Obviously every time the boys step out to play i get whiteline fever but thinking about it logically we need at least two more guns if we are going to be a fair dinkum unit.If we miss out on the Hansons,Thorpes and Gibbs ect.. We will be cursing in years to come.
Go Tiges!

I will say what I really feel... A top three/four pick in this years draft would be unbelievably exciting. Maybe I'll leave it at that.

Glad you agree.

Finals always. Why continue mediocrity. Draft picks wont guarantee us success but finals experience wil lbe invaluable for our young crop coming through. Besides you stil lget a first rounder no matter where you finish and this draft is supposedly deep.

Well there's two things we don't want to do: think we are better than we are if we go ok (ala 2001) or tank games because we want draft picks in round 5. We try our best, develop our youth, and as supporters try and enjoy the season - it's only round 5 - we may have some great wins this year. Deal with this stuff later on ( I mean from the supporters point of view).

I'd always rather see the team win than lose. I think it is a shame that the way the draft is set up it provides incentive to lose games. :(

Right now, on a sunny tropical island sipping martinis.

In regards to the draft, this year there are enough top juniors for every team to pick up a couple of beauties.

For the boys wearing yellow & black today, just go out onto the field and do your best, the rest will come.

For the recruiters, there'll be plenty of top boys out there to choose from. The easiest part should be picking the obvious.

I agree with phantom - if its such a super draft then there should be still excellent players available later in the picks. Hopefully we have bottomed out and now start a slow steady climb back up where we belong.
