WEST COAST

Dribble from Nesbitt ... what an apologist. He should have been sacked earlier this year.

It is under his CEO reign that a culture of tolerance towards illegal drugs was established, permitted and left to foster.

Too harsh. It was a club effort.

SEN and 3AW are both talking about a story expected to break shortly. I wonder what it Kerred be?

cleaned up last year in draft via the judd trade...trade some off casts this year and clean up again...they arent silly.

Absolutely.

The eagles will happily throw this season to add a Rich or Naitanui amongst other higher picks which they will get by trading the likes of Seaby, Rosa, Nickoski, Staker, Fletcher etc.

Add this new young talent to the list of Masten, Notte, the Selwoods, Hurn, Priddis, Waters, McKenzie, Brown, McKInley, Jones, Schofield and Spangher and the Coasters have already built the core of a new side for sustained success going forward.

Unlike the RFC way of hanging onto mediocre types and not having the guts to delist or trade others to improve draft position.

Perhaps Judd, Cousins and Kerr carried the majority of this team for many years and now the true eagles are being shown out.

No perhaps about it. These players would have to be 3 of the 10 best midfielders in the league. Taking these 3 out of a team is like taking the mojo out of Austen Powers.

Success means the price of any player associated with that club[Eagles] always is above normal rates. Our problem is our lack of success.Thats the problem.
Hopefully things will change.
Just put our feet in West Coast,s shoes for a min.
Imagine what price we,d ask for someone like Pettifer. He,d attract at least a late 1st rounder.

As it stands the best we,d get for Pettifer is a late 2nd rounder[if we are lucky].

Not yet .................maybe Cox out for surgery and will be rested for next 18 weeks to ensure recovery along with Kerr, Embley, Glass, Stenglein, Waters, Braun, Hansen and Hunter to sit out rest of season due to lack of interest and to make sure they are fit and firing for next year and also ................................... to make sure they are in best position to get the big Fijian superman.

Just an observation , and yes i know its early in the season (which makes it worse) but i believe we have found the first TANKING team of the 2008 season. West coast have only lost 2 players Judd and Cousins from a fairly successful side. And these two only had limited influance on there games last year (Judd was buggered after a bout 8 games and Cousins was out more than in). They are playing alot of kids already and i question weather Priddis would have had a clean out if they thought/wanted to play finals. On top of that they just dont seem to have any hunger in them ,they only got within ten goals of Port when the power took the foot of the gas on the weekend.

For WCE to say that all the drama's last year havent effected the club and its culture is laughable after las nights game against Carrrrrlton. Pretty much the same side, less Judd and Cuz (with Kerr out injured tonight), yet they hardly gave a whimper against the most poorly performed team in the last 8 years. THey have class in the side/squad, but lack agression, hunger and hardness. It seems they have fallen apart, lacking leadership and direction.

Juddy would be laughing on one side of his face and appalled/disappointed on the other. I know i would be.

Reckon it'll be Rich that they're after.

In the last 12 months they've lost Judd & Cousins, Braun is coming to the end, and Kerr is getting repetitive niggling injuries. It'll be a midfielder that they'll be after.

With Staker, Lynch, Hansen, Graham, Cox, Seaby, Kennedy, MBrown, they don't need another tall so desperately.

Masten will be good, but imagine a mature Masten & Rich together.

Seaby could be a good one to go after at season's end.

23yo, 200cm, good stats for a ruckman but never gets a go because of Cox.

Could be an alternative if Melbourne wants Warnock badly enough.

Think youre right Phanto - Nick is as good as a demon (or a tiger if we throw the towell in at 4.5 wins :hihi)

Its not too late for the Tigers to get Naitanui and Hurley at #1 and #3 you know :hihi :hihi :hihi .

Maybe Seaby for Pettifer.

Them not getting within two miserable goals of the rabble known as Carltank cost me eight at the line. I ended up saving on Esserden so either way.

Worst Coached Eagles.

Reckon I'll have a look at their recruiting model soon. Theirs has been an interesting exercise in list management.

One thing we can be absolutely certain of is that WCE's recruiting, while good, is hardly the sort of thing that should be spoken of in hushed reverent tones.

If they don't flum Judd at #3 they win zip premierships.

I see the AFLs greatest ever plastic tough guy Beau "goldfish" Waters at it again with another gutless snipe on poor little Eddie Betts ::)

Not once have I seen this bloke put his head over the pill,Im sure claw might argue with me though ;)

What I wanna know is how do McPhee and Stokes each receive 1 week for their soft touches, when Beau Waters decks Eddy Betts behind the play and gets away with it?

West Coke who?

They will finish bottom 4.

Along with the arrival of Josh Kennedy, they now have all of Carltank's secrets into successful tanking.

they are definately after Natanui and Rich who are local boys, as it seems that Carltank will always be a bad influence on others :hihi
