methinks Vlads ego has got the better of him and is looking for a legacy in his time as the boss of the league. West Sydney will be an unmitigated disaster and could potentially cripple the AFL with the millions of $$$ they'll be throwing in that direction for no return.
the NSW government has withdrawn it's initial $10 million promise for the home ground for fear of a voter backlash. now think about that for a minute... the NSW government thinks they will lose votes if the locals think they are pro-AFL. what does that say about the interest of the sport in that area?
Also, why should the RFC support this venture? what do we have to gain by this 18th team in west sydney?
