Yep! I was there last night and watched the doggies tear us a seriously large new " HOLE " and was blown away by the work ethic, run, discipline, multiple scoring options and skills of the doggies.
This mornings article in the Hun by Mark Stevens was a timely reminder of why I like Plough as a coach. Why he needed a five year deal to put his vision in place and how fortunate Eade was in getting the doggies to coach.
Plough was the coach who put the core of the doggies high speed skilled running side together it just hadn't had time to grow up before he left, sure it's had a couple of handy young additions since then, now that the core players are coming into that seasoned campaigner bracket and have a bloody good coach in Rocket with a similar type of run and carry game plan that Plough likes to use.
It was fantastic to see the type of game that Plough favours in full flight and singing its head off.
I'm totally pissed off that we as a side were so ineffective and made to look totally incompetent all over the ground last night, but if the doggies perormance last night was ( as I believe to be the case) what Plough envisaged the modern running game of footy to be developing into than " GLORY HALLELUJAH " brothers and sisters bring me a huge slice of that game pie.
