What changes would you like to see next year (AFL). ?

1. No more NEW rules.
2. No more play on crap when a player is tackled with the ball only for the ball to spill free.(Holding the ball)
3. Get rid of the crow throw,if it doesnt look like a handball then its not.
4. Reduce the number of umpires.
5. Get rid of this holding the man too long after he's been tackled.(your free game if your caught with the pill)
6. 50m penalties to only be applied for reportable incidents.
7. No free kicks against players that touch umpires.( Its a mans game,harden up or get off the ground.)

Seriously, I agree with most of the above but the split rounds annoy me. Whether Richmond are playing or not, I hate those weekends where there are only 3 or 4 games. If they want to give teams a break, they should give two teams a bye EVERY week. For example, under the present number of clubs and games, instead of having 22 rounds of 8, why not have 24 rounds of 7 and one of 8 at the end? Then every club gets THREE byes and we don't have any dud weekends.

I'd like to see the AFL unleash the Geisch and send him back to Maffra, then appoint someone who can actually work with the umpires to get better decision making in games, rather than constantly telling them different things creating so much inconsistency.
