We want to get rid of 7 - 8 players this year, to get another 6 ish players on the list next year. IF, and that's a very, very big IF, we can get a YOUNG key defender, without having to give up a first or second round pick, I'd entertain the idea. We must not trade our youth away. I think our first two picks should be untouchable, unless we end up with a replacement pick. Ie Trade our first round pick at pick 7-8, and end up with a player and pick 12, or we trade up, and get pick 1-4. The player would have to be very special, for us to consider doing such a deal.
Otherwise, fill up with young guys, and be patient. We are starting to see the signs, don't take short cuts, and get on with our run and carry style. No short chip and over possess football.
