What do you wear to the footy?

Only my old woollen Tigers jumper with a sewn "4" on the back...all-round sash...long sleeve of course...and great that the Tiges have gone back to the all-round sash now....saved me buying a new jumper with a yellow number! :hihi

On cold nights...my old Tigers scarf with the old VFL logo still on it! 8)

old tigers polo with lotto and tac (need to get updated quickly :) ), being folicularly (I think that's the word, hope the swear filter doesn't pick it up ;D) a beanie if it's cold, a cap if it's sunny. A tigers jacket and socks, sometimes a scarf.
Has anyone else seen the ultimate Tiger's outfit that a supporter wears every game at the 'G. It consists ,from memory, a Tigers top hat, tiger paws mocasins, tiger vest and black and yellow polka dot boxer shorts. I'm usually sober at the games so I know he's real.

Yeah, I'm thinking about hanging up the paws this year. I'm nearly 40 after all. Could be about time to grow up. :-\ :-\

I go to the footy wearing a set of reins as naughty kids used to wear, just so my mates can stop me from throwing myself off bridges railway paltforms or under cars on Punt Road after another vintage tigers exhibiton and watching the duds run around week after week afta week hahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaa :hihi

What do I wear to the footy?....I have lots of Richmond gear which I have gathered over the years and usually purchase a new item every year. I am a bit superstitious though I'll wear an outfit to the first match, then if we lose I change the outfit, if we win I wear the same outfit to the following game. I know it's crazy....but it goes much deeper, because my perfume and hair and makeup also are effected. Sounds bizarre but I can't help myself.

I like to get my gear before the season and wear exactly the same clothes every week.

Has anyone who's been to the Tiger Den recently noticed any warmer jumpers available yet?

They are clearing out last years fleecey windcheater type thing they are super warm and have the AFG logo,I did my shoppin there the other week and dont remember seeing any new stuff like it except for the Hummel zip ups(not RFC)

Thanks CC. I hope to get down there this week so hopefully they'll have some left. I'm not fussed about advertising logos and would actually prefer not to have them.
What are the non-RFC zip ups? Are we selling non-Richmond merchandise in the Tiger Den? Are they in our colours?

They are like the old tracky tops( zip ups) there are some black and yellow ones but they are in all sorts of colors just a range of Hummel products with prices over the $100 mark

yeah i saw that guy pretty much every game in 2005.

in my early days as a member i refused to wear anything with black or yellow on it. it was a superstitious thing.

for the past 6-7 years i've been wearing a richmond polo shirt with the scarf around my waist to all games. i discarded the scarf in 2005. i'm gonna buy a new polo this year as my old one faded early in the season when i forgot to wash it until the night before a game. it didn't dry overnight so i stupidly dumped it in the dryer before i left and it faded.

i stupidly wore my "i was there when we were sh*t" polo on :donut day last year, but after the flogging we got i never wore it again. i promised myself i will wear the t-shirt for our first finals game the next time we make it...

I have a range of clothing I wear, I normaly alternate between them on a weekly basis.

If its a warm day then I wear my yellow training t-shirt, or my AFG guernsey( I was thinking if buying the hummel one but I am drawing the line this season, it just gets too expensive to buy a new guernsey every season.

I also wear my supporters cap every now and then but not often.

I just aquired the Silver pre season guernsey so I am looking forward to wearing that on the odd occasion this season.
If its cold then I normaly wear heaps of clothes then my old lotto tiger tracksuit over the top.

No scarves for me.
