What Frawley said on "Before the Game" on Foxtel

Welcome to PRE Tony. I notice Jake King in your avatar. Do you like him because he is the only player at the club shorter than you are?
Or he has a bigger heart than the other 23" team mates"

The 2001 side was driven by the core of players left over from Northey's side, Frawley ripped the heart out of that side.

Disagree, despite the arguments over recruiting we do have now a better list than we had in 2004, which just shows how poor the list in 2004 was.
i would go so far as to say the list structure is worse.

Wasnt just Brownless. Every other panelist had us twice in their top 5.

And FWIW, go and have a cry you big baby.
its astounding when one considers in dannys time he traded away our first round picks in 01 and 03 and down traded in 02.
even more astounding is theres only 3 players left on the list taken in the first or second round in frawleys five drafts.and if you look at 1st 2nd and 3rd round picks theres a total of 5. ::)

if anyone takes Frawdley's opinion seriously needs to seek medical help...or has a Sybil complex... :rofl

there is a reason he is called spud it aint to do with potatoes...

Lets not forget, Danny Frawley was one of the best footballers in his time. He knows alot about the game and just because he cant coach doesnt mean that his knowledge about the game wouldnt be as good as a Worsfold or Roos.

Did you ever listen to one of his post-match press conferences HT? His knowledge of Cherry Ripes was good but he came across as someone knew little about the intracies of football. He simply spat out the usual garbage of cliches that anyone would know watching 5 minutes of AFL. Tell me one insight Spud has ever given you in the media outside his genereic "he needs to man up" "they're on a roll" "player X needed to raise his eyes ..."

Spud was a dud. our list was pitiful at the end of his tenure. he should shut up as he's already done enough damage to the RFC.

As for the person who said leave Fleming out of it cause he was hard at it, i reckon he was at best a suburban footballer. there's plenty hard at it just that they are too slow and not skilled enough for AFL. he was a waste of 2 yrs or however long he took the spot of a youngster.

Wallace's problem is he didn't cull enough from our list when he took over. he had his chance. now he can't go back & he hasn't got the time left in his contract to do it. he has to go with what he has now and it is showing in our results. its like a rose bush. to get the best results you need to prune it hard and wait for a while until; it flourishes.

Wallace is right though, it will be 2011 before we get back on track with our list. problem is he probaly won't be around to see it.
One of the most sensible comments in this thread and completely on the money about Fleming. I'm seeing a lot of shots being fired from everywhere at the RFC and at Wallace, what I'm not seeing are many suggestions from anyone, including the media, about how to fix the multitude of problems that exist at the club. I don't have an answers myself, but I don't know if I can face throwing it all out and starting again. We do have to get rid of Miller with his must trade mentality.

That's a fine case you're making there, Redford.

BTW whatever the hell Richmond's reserves were called in 1999 ? (I think it was Richmond reserves) they won the flag.

Now if Coburg had won it last year I'd have backed us for the eight this year. It's better than superstition; it's about competition. Reserves flags augur well.

Wish they would return back to the reserve comp and the under 19's. A time when you could watch a kid make it through the ranks and you knew all the players were tigers. Not the half and half you get now with the VFL.
