Living OS I rely on the internet to get live scores. And how difficult is that these days ???
Seems to me The Age and The Sun don't do it on their sites like they used to up until the end of last year. Have the AFL "leant on them" to stop this and increase traffic to afl.com.au ?
This would all be well and good if the live scores service on afl.com.au worked all the time. Which is doesn't. It ain't working for me right now.
For Richmond games I don't have problem because, believe it or not, I use PRE as my live scores service :-).

Anyone else having this problem?

Normally, I agree it is awful, but seems to be ok today for Saints v Doggies. FYI 29 min mark Q3 - saints by 15 pts

Agree, it's crap. May be the fact I am using Firefox as my browser. I stupidly installed IE7 beta on my machine at home and it has never been the same since. Luckily I didn't do it at work. I find when you are looking at the stats it wont stay on the team I am interested in. Buggy, poorly written. I can normally get the info I want but it is a frustrating exercise.

The Flash App is ours, Champion Data, but is wrapped up by Telstra. How it's wrapped up is not in our control though. The app itself is still being worked on as it was totally rewritten over the summer and we came up, ummm, slightly short. There's a lot more in it this year and that's given us if few more things to deal with. However, it's getting better as it's me on the server end and my buddy on the front end doing the work. Consider that we can get anywhere between 5,000 and 20,000+ people on at the same time and you may start to have some idea of the fun I'm having...

So any feedback is good feedback, but spare a thought for me when you do ;-)

Fudge

I find it quite interesting fudge, and I'm sure it'll get even better as you use it more. Must admit, I just go to the HTML version every so often.

Keep up the good work. :D

For me today even the HTML version was not working. I click on the LIVE SCORES to boot up the Java thingy. It boots up but no data appears. I just see the basic outline of the page and the word "Done" down the bottom and that's it. When I click on the HTML version link, nothing happens. Zero.

Can anyone answer the other question as to why The Age and The Sun aren't doing it this year? I used to think The Age's version was much better and more reliable. I used it all the time. Only switched to AFL this year because I had to.
