What if Ottens and Fiora tied for the brownlow?

The only way this could ever happen is if absolutely no other player was eligible and even then I think they'd be reluctant to give these two the medal.
good one........I would have to agree

IS THIS STUPID THREAD EVER GOING TO FINISH ?

I tried finishing it with the first reply TF

Sorry guys, just trying to get a laugh from your funny remarks!

As far as I'm concerned, the only time Ottens and Fiora will tie....... is the knot to marry each other.

With the hype around Fiora and Ottens being improvers at their new clubs, you'd think they'd be hall of famers. There was no room for either of the at the club and I'm glad their gone, even if they do tie for the brownlow.

Well...maybe not...but still!

Curtis :blah

i know the brownlow never goes to the best player of the year, but they never give it to soft players either.

so if round 1 is donut day, is round 5 muppet arms day? we can throw sock puppets at fiona?

soft players? didn't woewodin win it?

The scarey thing is these guys were 2 & 3 in their respective drafts, yes? This year we had 1 & 4. Who's to say what the future holds. If they finally fulfil the expectations and prognostications....................
I for one one won't say never..... ;)

look if they either of them won the brownlow well I would not be happy :( but the big picture is that we are building a Champion team for the future to win Flags and win back respect .
and I rather have a Champion Team than a team of Champions :)

What if monkeys fly out of my arse? The first step for those two clowns is to register a vote.

P.S. Top call on Woewodin BFTG - I would've said exactly the same thing if I hadn't scrolled down and seen that straight away. If he's not soft then I don't know who is!  ;D

you got me there

As a result of aimlessly trolling the the threads and absorbing irrelevant statistics, I note that Aaron Fiora is 5th on the all time list of most games without a brownlow vote and only needs 23 games to become all time leader. Given the respective abilities of the Saints and Fiona, I would think it is a given.

My excuse is that the gap between round 22 and trade week is as mind numbing as the offseason for tiger supporters.

Good stat Bill.

Since leaving they've polled once in 107 h&a games between them - Ottens 2 votes v Port in 2005. Both are generally perceived to be playing the best footy of their careers, yet they've been collectively outperformed at the Brownlow by such Tiger luminaries as Ray Hall, John Howat, Stuart Wigney, Ben Harrison, David Bourke and Clinton King, in fewer games.

Darren Gaspar polled 34 votes from 225 games while Ottens has 14 from 182 games, yet Ottens will be looked on in hindsight as a success by virtue of his premiership medallion while Gaspar will be perennially associated with failure.
