that's one helluva long bumper sticker

Maybe something with a comedic edge to it say something with JON as the main marketing man.
'We're crap but come see JON for a night of laughs and mayhem....you won't believe what he'll do next'

...simply an appeal to the fans to stay loyal and that this time there will no quick fixes, that it's a real rebuild this time.

That's how I was thinking, too. Something sober, honest but not darksided, along the lines of the true tiger staying loyal.

No promises of imminent flags, no attempted distractions to gimmicks or Pollyanna-ish "we're roaring!" type messages, but something that recognises (without beating us up) that we're having tough times, we need our fans to have faith, and we are rebuilding.

If Richo goes around for one more year, I think we could do a lot worse than to make the entire campaign about him and his swan song year.

2010: The year of the Richo.

Love this, but - What about if he goes on for another year? (Guess we get another year of marketing out of the idea!)

On this one HeadandShin I think we just need to follow little Johny Farnham for ideas ;)
