PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

After listening to talkback and reading some of the posts here and on other sites I have to ask what people really expected from tonight's game?

We played a team we have not beaten since about 2002/3

We played a team who have won 12 straight

We played on a ground we have no clue about playing on

We played under a caretaker coach

We are a young team and without our best player in Richo

We played with a directive from the club saying try some different things, play a different game plan

We played for better draft picks, whether we like it or not

The club will never come out and say it, but we must accept that we need more quality kids and while this draft is the last uncomprimised don't be surprised to see us do our best to beat Fremantle for 15th spot.

We were never going to win tonight, and we probably will struggle to win again this year.

The club is doing the right thing.

I accept it, as much as I don't like it, our year was over at Round 1.
