PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Just what is going on with the playing group? Since Jade the Blade has come along and started to coach this group, they're are actually starting to play football.

Guys like King, McMahon, Silvester, PRE we've been brutal on them but all of a sudden they are starting to show something. Perhaps its just survival mode for them, but McMahon is actually tackling, King is not stuffing it up like he used to and Silvester seems to be getting the hang of it.

No *smile*, No Hughes up forward, seems to me their day in the sun is officially over.
No Simmond's, No Bowden ditto. Brown will probably be gone too.

Riewoldt 6 goals, played the best game of his career to date. Morton, Nahas, Post, Vickery, Pattison, Cotchin, Deledio, Tambling, Edwards, White, etc etc, they all had a red hot go and its shows.

Rawlings has done more for this playing group, than Wallace did in the last 3 years.

Beating Essendon, nice, but its winning consistently and building up a team that can win a flag that is the one we all want to see in action.

As for Jade Rawlings, this win won't have done his coaching ambition of being the Senior Coach at Richmond, any harm at all, I would have thought.
