This year was better than last, however not great IMO. I think our young players are starting to live up to their potential, as we are forming a solid defence and a talented young midfield. We had some disappointing performances this year, as well as some close losses, a draw and some very pleasing wins. Personally, I vote for the Round 20 win over Hawthorn.

Easy - Hawks by a mile. We beat them at their own game.

Second is Dockers in Perth - we owned them that day and came out of nowhere given the state of the season to that point. It was like a new rejuvenated Richmond team showed up.

Brisbane game for mine, was the game that pumped me up the most, I would have ran through a brickwall straight after that game. Was a awesome display.

Honourable mention to the Port game where we put on one of our most scintilating quarters ...

I very much hope those monster goal blitz quarters we had a couple of times this season become a more regular part of our performance in the coming years.

Lions for mine. Both teams sniffing the edges of the Top 8. We're behind at 3/4 time and normally we'd fold like a deck of cards. Instead we came from miles back to hit the front. We then lost the lead, but then clawed it back for a win.

The jubilation on the players faces after the game showed how much it meant to the squad. While I'd like to think we turned the corner that game, we probably just flicked the indicator on to let those around us know the RFC was changing direction.

heh heh, is that a vote for every game he played in? Where I sit at the MCG there are lots of tiger fans, every time Cotch does something you can hear the ooooh and ahhhhs

Exciting isn't it!!

I thought that the Brisbane game was our most spirited win in years. Spirit's a new thing with this list. And most welcome.

Hawks...we won a game we weren't supposed to because the kids wanted to win!

And the bloddy well showed what lies ahead!

I went for the Brisbane game. Was there and was the most pleasing win I have seen for a while, the emotion, the crowd, the comeback, it was brilliant.

The Hawks game was good, but please don't get fooled into a false sense of security, they didn't show up 100% and we were determined. A good win and Wallace was good that day, but the story may have been different if they had bothered caring more.
