Richmond is a club with it's fair share of players that the supporters (ha!) love to hate. Sometimes it's fair enough, and sometimes it's some kind of irrational, pathological, blind hatred that cannot be shaken irrespective of on-field performance.
I believe there's no such thing as an unsalvageable player, and that hard work is the answer if it's applied towards the right goals.
My question is this - being REALISTIC, what would our much-maligned group have to do to make you change your mind about them?
(If possible, let's not waste everyone's time with "resign immediately, pay us back 100% of their salary for the wasted years, and source an 18yo gun midfielder as a replacement" type posts.)
I'll get the ball rolling with some obvious ones:
Pettifer - apply more defensive pressure when the ball is on it's way out of our forward line.
Krakouer - get some endurance, or live permanently at Richo's feet for a minimum 2 goals per game.
Tivendale - hit targets consistently, boot running goals from 50 out.
Simmonds - hold more marks, improve goal conversion when resting in forward line
Moore - dye hair brown.
Entire Backline - learn how to spoil rather than try to mark everything
