What would we give up for chris judd??

[If they are serious about winning a premiership, they'll keep Chris Judd!
.

I agree TOO

But if he puts his foot down and just refuses to sign with them and says "I am going home no matter what via the PSD or trade time, it s up to you", surely the Eagles will trade. maybe not, maybe they show their supporter base that they were dead serious about keeping Juddy, or do the try and find the best deal out there.

Personally, I think they have to get something in return.  A morale victory will get them nothing but grief.

YOU HAVE TO GET SOMETHING FOR THE BEST MIDFIELDER OF THE LAST 20 YEARS.

Hawthorn are always touted as his Melbourne team, but it would have to Mark Williams, Buddy Franklin and a first round pick for the Eagles even to look twice.   If he goes via PSD in 2007 who knows were he will end up, maybe the Dons.

Far too away too even speculate.

i see a club like essendon getting him as they would be likely to get 3 picks in the top 20. 1. 17 and 18. they have the money and the profile and desperately need a quick midfielder. ;)

Judd has a problem if he really wants to return to Melbourne.  Any team that goes after him and succeeds will have to rip the heart out of their club to get him.

Two 1st round picks for Ottens?  1 1/2 for Hay?  What the hell is Judd worth?

He is unlikely to walk out on WC and go into the PSD and they are unlikely to let him so it will take draft choices and very good players to clinch the deal.

Looks too hard.

agreed. Only reason you'd have a go is if circumstances allowed, like if Cogs wanted to go home and was in top form, and they took Cogs and a pick. Wouldn't happen. Point is, you wouldn't gut an up and coming side to get him.

Over the next few weeks many of us are going to find out just how important, or not, Judd is to the Weagles.

I know as a Tiger supporter that we'd all like to think that Deledio is going to be as good as Judd.
Having said that, I honestly think that the Eagles, at the end of the day, if they knew that Judd wanted to go, they would want a very good player that they needed (gun forward) plus a very high draft pick this year to swap for Judd.
This may be Fevola plus Carlton's first draft pick (and 2nd?).
Given Richo's age, I can't see us satisfing Eagles with the gun forward.
It's not going to happen for Richmond.

Given that the Vic clubs will probably have top selection anyway, you probably wouldn't give up anyhing for him if you didn't have to (if you finish bottom)

I wouldn't give up anyone on our list. Grow our own.

Gametes, Zygotes, Gonads and Progeny.

But they'd want a lot more than just your future.
