PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

.... He said Durga, the Indian female deity, rides a tiger because it is the symbol of courage. "The Tigers must play like tigers. And if the supporters are positive with the team and send them their good wishes, the team will be uplifted." Link to article

Martin Flanagan has a great article on realfooty today. It's also posted on the Journos board on PRE. (It's well worth the effort to check it out)

It finishes with him discussing a person named Shekhar who has collected messages of good will for various groups of people who've been suffering hardship, and the article ended with the quote above.

It made me wonder what we'd write on a similar banner of goodwill for Richmond.

I'll write

Today you will have thousands of supporters following your every move Tiges. You let them down last week but can make amends by giving everything you have to give this week. You have to walk off the field, win loss or draw, knowing you couldn't have done more. You'll be spent from running, tackling and supporting your mates out there. Today is a new beginning. Eat 'em Alive.

What would others write on the banner?
