Agree I don't think anyone can meet thier demands on Kerr & he is still contracted will see what happens with O'Keefe he would attract a 1st round pick then Sydney might off load that for Kerr but it's a long way off.
I initially thought no, then I decided to have a look going back to 2000, who was taken at those picks - it's a close call.

Not easy to think which way to go. Remember the injury gods could have frowned upon Motlop & Bartel as opposed to Coughlan & Maguire, or even just have been kind to Cogs & Goose & those years would be completely different in weighing up the better year.
2002 & dare I say it 2005 appear to have been the weakest drafts. 03 not much better.

oh boy here we go again morons suggesting we do exactly what has made us a rabble for 26 yrs. unbelievable.
when will ferals recognise the need forthe club to go thru the correct processes. get the processes in place ffs if they then get it wrong in doing the right thing sack them and find someone who can get the processes right.
the trading attempted downtrading and down trading of picks just has to stop 26yrs is a long enough period to learn from your mistakes. the time has come for the club to adopt a long term policy of vigorously trading players for picks its time to throw out sentimentality and become ruthless in pursuit of a regular top 4 list.

Thanks clawless for calling me a moron. only a suggestion to try and get as many young players into the squad. We have finished in a position where we are going to miss out on who we need. 4 picks in the top 30 is better than 2. Players like sidebottom, trengrove suban, blease Roughhead, reddan, Lisle maybe around these pick. You can get all at once. What would you suggest clawless?
Don't feel offended GP. If u have not been called a name by Claw u probably have not had the balls to post an opinion on here.
However me feels The Craw is right. Keep drafting young guys with the odds that a couple of good ones will develop. Five youg kids each year over 5 years gives you 25 players with a chance of making it. You probably only need 5-8 of them to step up and be 200 gamers for the club to likely have a nucleas to build a side around.
The one thing this club has never done is take the hard line and admit their drafting mistakes and axe players rather than turn them into PROJECT players and keep them on the list for several years too long.
Hope CC has the balls to axe duds (even if they were high draft picks) and strikes it lucky with his draft picks as good research and luck are needed to land the good ones.

What about pick 8 to Freo for Warnock and their second pick?
I'm not over confident in how good Warnock is supposed to gunna be, but some people seem to rate him and some clubs seem desperate to get him.
Would give us the big young ruckman with ten years ahead of him and still give us two picks in the first half of round two.
Now I just need an aeroplane smiley for the Claw to shoot down in flames.
