It's trade time and all the rumours will be coming out. It is a year that we don't need to give up draft picks for senior blokes. This draft scenario was discussed with a few mates. This all depends on how strong you recruiters believe the draft is. What do you think of this:
Carlton give Hampson to Brisbane for their pick 25.
Freo give Warnock to Carlton for Carltons picks 24 & 25.
Richmond give Pick 8 for Freo's picks 21, 24 & 25.
If people believe the draft is strong then we can pick up what we want around these picks. You may also send *smile* to Port for their Second round pick.
Instead of having 2 picks in the top 30 we can have 4 or 5.
For this to happen, I need to find out how strong this draft is. Also, the person we are looking at maybe gone by pick 8, while others may fall to our later picks.
