It's a mystery but he definitely played for us, somewhere around 1990-1995 I think. Whenever the name Daffy/Daffey was mentioned my son and I would always joke "Nick or Mick".
.......
Correct, but he only played reserves - possibly as one of those "Supp list" players who was never on the official list.

No Mick Daffey played senior football.
And you probably are thinking of Michael Laffey, long wave hair from the backline I remember him as.
However I will check any records I have of supplementary players to be sure. If I find Mick Daffey ( I doubt I will), I will post here, otherwise let's assume you mean Michael Laffey

What a team, Daffy, Laffey and Chaffey, with Goosey playing in the Under 19s for a while around the same era!

Where were Huey, Dewey and Louey?

Thanks Rhett..... the fact his surname is spelt Laffey, not Laffy, is the clincher. The "ey" part was something I was fairly certain about.

Confusing "Laff" and "Daff" appears to have been caused by the "Nick or Mick" in-joke my son and I shared. Basically Nick did the classy things and Mick did the assy things. In saying that Mick was still a lovable character because he always tried hard   ::)

Huey Dewey and Louey have kicked on TOT they are at Collingwood but are now known as Travis, Jason and Cameron Cloke :hihi :hihi :hihi

Paul Morrish I think he played his first game in r22 85 or 86 then did not play again again for another 3 years and then ended up at Fitzroy.
