With the season half over and it looking more likely we will now acquire some early draft picks, possibly the number one pick, what do readers think our greatest needs are.
Do we go for a ruckman like Kruezer or do we opt for a midfielder like Cotchin.
I only use those as examples as their names have been bandied around as possible no 1 draft pick. Who best suits our needs.
Personally I tend to think a couple of bigger bodied inside midfielders are our greatest need at the moment.
I know the lack of ruck options has hit us hard this year, but we still have Simmonds, Knoble and Patterson on our list for next year.
At the moment we have a very limited number of genuine in and under midfielders at our disposal with Foley almost being a lone hand in this regard. Johnson has now been relegated to a run with role and cant really see who else is likely to step up into a genuine midfield role with in and under ball winning ability.
What does the PRE faithful think. Who/or what do we target in this years draft as the priority.
