whats the best day to attend the footy?

I always thought it depended on the game rather than the day.

Any day as long as there's a good game.

Friday nights are pretty good. Gets the AFL footy out of the way before the weekend begins.

Weeknights are pretty good too. Anytime that actually creates more leisure time.

Sat Night - Still have the day to do things & there is only rubbish on the box Sat night anyway.
Sat Arvo - Traditional day. Can still enjoy a night out.
Sunday - A complete joke. Hate it. Can't relax when you get home.

actually i gotto agree with you a little there. 7:45 on friday night is late for families. i can't see why they can't start friday night games an hour earlier. they're not live on tv, so i don't understand what the problem would be... apart from traffic maybe

One advantage about Sunday games is that at least the papers give a 2 page spread on game details.
