Personally for me it ended during the 2005 draft. I couldn't believe that we only had three draft picks in what should have been another pivotal year in the clubs rebuild. I rationalised it at the time by half swallowing the excuse that it wasn't a very deep pool of talent, and that there would be feverish activity the following year to get extra picks to make up for it. Well obviously that never happened and it was at this point that I stop listening to the spin-doctoring. Last night was just a reaffirmation that we haven't gone nearly far enough in cutting the deadwood. But when was it for you?
