When richo did his knee

Was at that SCG game with my son when it happened. With 27.3 for the season we were looking forward to Richo kicking a bagfull that day. What a bummer  :'(

The best part of the game though was how the boys rallied and scored a big win over the Swans. We joined in the celebrations later with Benny and the boys. Spoke with Northey and he was pretty pumped.

Imagine how well we might have gone in 1995 if Richo had not been injured  :(

(Crouching - hands over head as I say it) I credited Richmond making the finals because we were without Richo - we were to Richo focussed then and we have been still. It took until 2001 for the club to win more games with Richo than without him! :o

No one knows for sure Pharace  ;)

At that stage he was 27.3 and we were leading the comp after the game.

Those accurate days are a distant memory though  :'(

That day Stuart Wigney and Stuart Edwards went forward and won us the day. I always liked Stewie Edwards I wore no.18 and everyone would ask who wears 18, i'd tell them and they'd say who?

I remember watching him do the knee on TV and even as a youngster I knew that he looked stuffed as soon as he went over.
I'll always remember him planting the foot and buckling over it right after. Bloody SCG

It also was the day Stuart Wigney broke his ankle , he was having a blinder of a year, was never the same
I reckon we could have upset Carlton in 95 if Richo and Wigney didnt get injured,we gave them a good run for their money when we played them that year.

Yeah Wigney was very good that year, even had the better of Carey in his prime. Gee did Northey have a way of inspiring average players to play above their ability or what?

I have never forgiven dog Dunkley for the act of shoving Rihco into the fence that day.
May your conscience always haunt you dog Dunkley, you no talent hack. >:D

Especially with Jurica playing well in Richo's spot.
