1. Stop saying “it is only a practice match” when Richmond win one, however when we lose it is a clear indication of the woeful season ahead.
2. Despite having a highly pessimistic outlook going into a Richmond game, and then Richmond loses then act like it is the end of the world or someone just robbed them of their dignity and livelihood. Surely those with such an ingrained pessimistic attitude should be best prepared to deal with a defeat.
3. Acknowledge that 17-18 years olds take 4-5 years to develop and are not going to be able to be the saviors of the club during this time; I mean when down at your work during the week do you expect the 17-21 years olds to run the company or do the work of those who have been in the industry 5, 10, 15 years or CEO maybe.
4. Acknowledge that young men in their late teens to very early 20’s rarely have physical attributes of a fully grown male.
5. Acknowledge some of our best experienced players are coming off some very ordinary injuries and will need time to play themselves in.
6. Stop claiming Wallace is always spin doctoring, then use 'spin' ad nauseum, like with comments as in point 1 above; or statements like “If it was a real game the Cats would have won by 100+ points”.
7. Stop stating all Wallace ever wants are skinny flankers when we have recruited Riewoldt, Hughes, Polak, Simmonds, Deledio, King, Pattison, Putt, Rance et al.
8. Stop dwelling and being miserable about what we have not achieved for “25 years” - as it is no longer of any help or relevance to moving forward.
Please feel free to add anything I have missed....... ;D
