Will this weekend be our first win?? Watching the Eagles fly against Carlton on Sunday....I don't think so. They are an awesome side, with plenty of skill, run and tackle like no tomorrow.

Geelong at Skill Stadium?? Big ask, but not out of the bounds of possibilty. Takes a lot of doing down there, but if the Hawks can give them a going over, just maybe we can as well!!!

Adelaide at AAMI Stadium?? The Crows would have to be the biggest bodies going around. Huge forward line, big talls all with the ability to take the big grabs. With McLeod firing, again a big task to win there.

Port Adelaide??? Another trip to the dreaded AAMI Stadium...two weeks in a row. The football gods must hate us. Some chance, although having to travel twice in a week is maybe too much.

Essendon at the G?? How I would love to see Sheedy's arrogance deflated in this game. Depends how much we have improved by then, and whether or not our injured players shape up. At least Hird will be out, but Lucas is a worry.

All in all, perhaps two or three wins, maybe none. None of us have a crystal ball, and look at the upsets this weekend.

This week. I want the players to run out believing they can and will win and I'm behind them all the way.

Got the sequence of games wrong, but the sentiments remain the same. We do play two at AAMI Stadium in a row.

I want the players to go out there and give it all theyve got, play as a team with a desire to win. I want them to look exhausted after the game so we can see theyve given it their all.
I hope thats not too much to ask.
Maybe Walla$e should let some of us into the rooms before the game like the old days in the old rooms to create some atmosphere in there.

Agree... otherwise, lets all give up now and take up poetry readings and tai-chi on Saturdays.

Wonder if a good dump of rain on Friday will help our cause this week?

I am praying for it.

Imagine Foley, Edwards, Tuck- it will even it just the slightest IMO as our blokes are so used to just putting boot to ball already, something the wet can force on players in the wet.

Also - I don't know as I haven't seen him in the wet, but King seems made for it. Tambling I think would also star in the wet.

I also think Simmonds could work around the ground as effectively as normal - not so sure about Cox though.

I for one am Praying for rain.

Against Geelong at the Dump!! (But lets have a dip againts the Weagles)

with ottens to have a dog of a day (odds are in our favour of that happening)

The return of mr Brown to lift the boys spirits :happy

and JR to kick 4 and outshine the Tomohawk

ok ...i'm starting to wake from my dream

Didn’t it rain on Sunday in Perth? It didn’t stop the Eagles humiliating Carlton.

That is probably okay Carlton, they have already had enough good wins to give them hope for next year. We can’t really afford to have our score tripled.

I think we might be playing Geelong at Telstra Dome. Not that it matters much.

true but,

if it stays dry - They score about 200 tripling our score - if its wet they score 80-90 tripling our score.

Much prefer the wet if only in looking at either of those 2 scenarios.
