Ive had a look at 3 sides ( Bombers, Lions & Blues) apart from our side and the recent drafts 2005 &2006.
Why is it that when we draft kids none of them are upto playing AFL level for years. They either need to put on weight or their skills need improving and they have to go to our Coburg creche for years on end?
Just looking at the last round when we played the Bluescum they had 3 recent draftees playing Murphy, Kennedy and Gibbs.
The Bummers had Jetta, Davey & Ryder. The Lions had Stiller, Roe, Begley & Patful.
You look at our side and we didnt even have one kid in our side from the last 2 drafts.
I ask what is going on and why cant we draft not even 1 ready made kid that can step into our side. We are not world beaters surely one of our draftees is upto it.
